Impact Leaders are middle school and high school students using their gifts and passions to impact their peers, their campuses, their community, and their world. Ground Zero is committed to raising up this generation of leaders with coaching, training, mentoring, and support.
COMMIT: Students commit to attend monthly Leadership Trainings, to attend monthly Planning Meetings, to participate in their ministry team's responsibilities, and agree to the iLeader Covenant.
SERVE: iLeaders understand that their participation is a ministry. They embrace coaching to equip them to lead, share, make decisions, and serve. They advocate for Ground Zero and support it by inviting others to engage with the ministry and by attending as many events as possible.
GROW: iLeaders understand that personal growth in Jesus Christ is part of life and ministry. They participate in iLeader’s meetings and are committed to growing in their faith through daily devotions and scripture memorization.
The Ministry Action Team
Each member of The Ministry Action Team serves on one or more of the ministry teams necessary to conduct ministry at Ground Zero. Collectively these teams carry out each Ground Zero event ensuring each guest has an unforgettable experience that leaves them wanting to return. The team also provides a voice for the Ground Zero venue and ministry including (but not limited to) venue aesthetics, layout, Coffee Shop/Top Nosh menus, event programming, merchandise, promotion, social media and planning the ministry calendar.
The Ground Zero Praise Band
The band is comprised of student musicians (drums, guitars, bass, keyboard, vocals, etc.) that work together to produce and lead worship experiences for GZ events, local churches, tours and missions trips.
Middle and High School campuses are a huge mission field! Ground Zero works with students to form leadership teams on their campus to promote Ground Zero Outreach events, to carry out weekly campus ministry meetings, school assemblies, teacher appreciation projects and other service projects.
