Have you ever thought of the Bible as being complicated, long, conflicting, outdated, or contradictory? For so many of us, the Bible just seems to cause more confusion than clarity. So, how can we begin to make sense of the Bible? What is it? How does it work? And why does everybody say it’s helpful when it doesn’t always feel that way? In this series we’ll take a closer look at the documents that make up the Bible, why so many people trust them, how we can use them and why we believe that context is key to connecting the ancient words of Scripture to modern times. Understanding the Bible is about more than knowing how to navigate its table of contents. This series will serve as a guide to help us understand the context that helps them connect the Bible to our everyday lives.
