September iEvent: Stunt Dudes
Middle & High School Students
Wednesday, September 25th
6:30 – 8:30
The StuntDudes are a team of BMX athletes who have traveled to over 50 countries around the world who put on live shows. Not only does the team do incredible stunts, but they use their platform to proclaim the good news of Jesus.
Vic Murphy, founder and leader of StuntDudes, is a professional BMX rider and evangelist. Vic’s founding involvement in the extreme-sports culture has given him a unique platform to share God’s love with young people of all ages. Him and his team travel the world to Luis Palau Festivals and other large evangelism and mission’s organizations. Vic makes frequent appearances on Extreme Life TV and has appeared on Fuel TV, ESPN, NBC, Steel Roots and JCTV. He is a featured rider on the Luis Palau DVD Livin It with Stephen Baldwin, which has distributed over 100,000 copies. All the major BMX magazines have featured Vic at one time, as did the popular BMX video series, Road Fools.
At 22 years old Vic came to understand Jesus was his Savior after picking up a Christian book in a grocery store to find more ammunition to argue against the existence of God with his friends, his plan backfired! "When I went looking for the truth Jesus showed up!" He says "I have no greater desire in life than to know God and to share what He has done for me"
