This Week @ iGROW:
The purpose of this first lesson is to make the case that it’s appropriate to read all of Scripture through what we might call a “Jesus filter.” It’s not a stretch to look for echoes of the Gospel in the biblical narrative. In fact, the Bible makes it clear that all of Scripture ultimately points to Christ. By looking at the words of both Jesus and John, you will see how true this is. This lesson will be the foundation we’ll use to study the big-picture story of Scripture and trace the thread of the Gospel through the Bible’s narrative.

The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.

What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
