iGROW

This Week @ iGROW:
Family is important. It plays a large part in shaping who we are and where we find belonging. In this lesson, we’re going to look at how God began the process of choosing His people. We’ll see His faithfulness and grace extended to a man named Abram, the father of the Israelites. It will be clear that God chose His people not based on what they had to offer but on His grace and purpose. The culmination of the story, like all stories in the Bible, is Christ. Jesus offers a place to belong, a family to all those who place their faith in Him.

The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.

What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
