This Week @ iGROW:
You’ve likely heard the story of Daniel and the lion’s den. It’s a fantastic story of God miraculously saving Daniel from some pretty scary lions. While it’s awesome that God chose to save Daniel from the lions, many people have to endure scary situations every day. So, we have to consider what this story is pointing us toward. As we dig into the truths of this story and look forward to the New Testament, our lesson will go beyond God’s incredible ability to do things like shut the mouths of lions. We’ll look to His ability to save us from the most devastating enemy we’ll ever face.
The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.
What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
