David is one of the most well-known characters in the Bible. Almost everyone has heard the story of David and Goliath and knows a little bit about who David was. Early in David’s life, it was obvious that God had a plan for him. Although God’s hand was clearly on David, it didn’t mean that David was beyond making some huge mistakes. The lesson of David and Bathsheba shows us just how easy it is for people of great faith to get tangled up in sin and suffer severe consequences. But the good news of the Gospel is that Jesus has not left us to suffer the penalty of our sin: eternal separation from Him.

The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.

What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
