This Week @ iGROW:
We all have expectations about the way life works. In this lesson, we’re going to explore the lives of David and Jesus, who were both unlikely choices by the world’s standards. David was an unlikely choice for king, yet God chose him and used him to lead Israel. Likewise, Jesus was not the Messiah that people expected, and He accomplished victory in a completely unexpected way. God doesn’t always work in the ways that we expect He should. In fact, He often uses the least likely candidate to accomplish a completely unexpected end.

The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.

What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
