iGROW

This Week @ iGROW:
We will continue our look at the Israelites’ journey to inherit the Promised Land. As we continue to uncover the big-picture story of the Bible, keep in mind that the Promised Land represents God’s faithfulness to His covenant with Abraham. God kept His promise to make Abraham the father of a great nation, but that nation needed a home. And that nation needed to know how to act as a people set apart by God. The path to helping them know how to live as God’s people started with the Ten Commandments. In this lesson we will see why the Ten Commandments were necessary and how we see God’s grace and love threaded through them.

The Thread Overview
So many teenagers simply don’t have a grasp of the narrative of the Bible. Key characters. Key events. Few students understand how these elements fit into the story of God and His people. The Thread aims to change this. In The Thread you will learn what the Gospel is, and how it courses through the narrative of Scripture. Not only will you learn the story of the Bible, but you will see that it is a story of unfailing love, as God seeks the beginning of Creation to draw humankind to Him through the grace of the Gospel.

What is iGROW?
iGrow is a weekly experience that helps teenagers grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word while connecting with others on the same faith journey. Each teenager also has an opportunity to be in an iGroup, which are consistent, dedicated groups of teenagers that are led by caring adults. iGrow gives teenagers a chance to build safe relationships and navigate faith and life together. In addition, teenagers have opportunities to participate in outings to strengthen relationships throughout the year.
