Jamie’s job, in his words, involves just a handful of simple responsibilities: he wakes up, drinks coffee, is awesome, and goes to bed. He handles those responsibilities under the title of associate pastor and student ministries pastor at Journey Church in Myrtle Beach.
Before entering the ministry, Jamie played semi-pro baseball and football. That explains why in his spare time he coaches baseball and is the public announcer for St. James High School basketball and baseball games. On days when he feels confident in his athletic skills, Jamie hits the golf links, too.
Jamie and his wife Christi have three young adult children. He joined the board, he says, because “I love GZ.”
