Ground Zero (GZ) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization located in downtown Myrtle Beach, SC. GZ uses events, concerts and weekly outreach activities to provide a positive environment for teenagers, their families, and our local community at large.

In 2011, the City of Myrtle Beach leased the former Rivoli Theatre to GZ for $1 a year. After 3 years of collaboration with dozens of community partners, GZ completed the venue’s $1.7 million renovation, transforming the local icon into an innovative, state-of-the-art venue unlike any other the area has to offer. Thanks to the Chapin Foundation and other local businesses, additional renovations were made in the summer of 2022 to refresh several high traffic areas.
